Nokia N96 is the company’s video flagship. That means that all the optimizations introduced into the model support solely that cause, the accent on mobile TV and video. N85 is more versatile and thus is going to win more popularity, but it can’t beat N96 in terms of video recording and playback, as well as in the musical department. Next comes a DVB-H digital TV module, so we get the best multimedia handset on the whole market which is going to stay so for quite a while on.

RIM launches first BlackBerry Clamshell
RIM has announced it's first Clamshell which is officially dubbed the 'BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8820'. The phone features EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Sure Type Qwerty Keypad and internal as well as external LCD Screens. Other useful features include Voice Activated Dialling (VAD), MP3 ring tones, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint editing directly on the handset and support for BlackBerry Media Sync which let's BlackBerry owners sync their handsets with iTunes just like iPhone does. Prominent omissions include absence of 3G & GPS and presence of just 2 Mega Pixel Camera. Overall it's a decent attempt if you consider that this is RIM's first Clamshell Handset. Hope their first Touch Screen attempt Thunder/Storm is better.

HTC Touch HD Leaks, another iPhone rival
The OS of choice is Windows Mobile 6.1 with Touch Flo 3D on top of it. The power to run all this comes from a 528Mhz CPU courtesy of the Qualcomm 7201A platform. There are also 512MB flash memory and 256MB of RAM. HTC Touch HD measures 115 x 62.8 x 12mm (which is just about the iPhone 3G with 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3mm). There's also a 5 Mega Pixel Camera, though without flash, compared to the paltry 2 Mega Pixel one of the iPhone.
HTC seems to ba making a lot of progress lately in producing good Touch Screen Phones like the Touch Diamond & this is just the icing on the cake with the first HTC phone to support 5 Mega Pixel Camera. However it's late to the party with Samsung i900 Omnia already crowned as the first Windows Mobile Real Camera Phone. The HTC Touch HD looks a lot like the Blackberry Thunder/Storm & will be challenging for the Top Spot among Touch Screen Phones along with the Samsung i900 Omnia, Blackberry Thunder/Storm, 3G iPhone & the LG KC 910. May the best Touch Screen Phone win !!

Samsung i8510 Innov8 Review by Mobile Review
While some may think that the size of the Samsung i8510 is its major letdown, it's not quite true. It is on the bulkier side, no doubt about that, but even if they could make it twice as small, that would have been a mistake. As far as mobile powerhouses go, their weight and size somewhat help their credibility. Having a hefty and sizable device that looks the part in his hand, the user will know right away what kind of phone he is dealing with. Should you modify the i8510 size even a tiny bit, it will be perceived in a totally different way.
Many people who saw the Samsung i8510 for the first time pointed at its width and thickness, however when we told them what features it had under the hood, this initial disappointment turned into approving nods in an eyewink.

HTC Opal Leakes
Pics of HTC Opal have leaked which is touted as a successor of the original HTC Touch. The casing and dimensions look exactly like the original Touch. The Opal will have the same slow 200 Mhz Processor as the Touch but will have 128 MB RAM / 256 MB ROM instead of 64 MB RAM / 128 MB ROM in the Touch. The OS has been upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1 & Touch Flo will also be beefed up to Touch Flo 3D instead of the cube type Touch Flo in the Touch. There will be no 3G to keep the costs down. The 200 Mhz Processor being able to run Touch Flo 3D is a thing to watch out for, it's better to buy the Diamond when the price comes down.
