Motorola launch Q11, has no 3G

Motorola has launched a new Winodws Mobile Smartphone today. It's running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard & is the successor of the Motorola Q9. The Q11 has Wi-fi, GPS & the 3.2 Mega Pixel Camera as it's main attraction. However it also suffers in some respect due to only 64 MB RAM & a slow ARM 7 LTE CPU from Freescale. The Q11 also has USB v1.1 and Bluetooth v 2.1 on board and also contains a microSD card slot for expanding the built-in memory. The lack of 3G & HSDPA support however will force users to use EDGE for on-the-go wireless data or Wi-fi when they can find a hotspot.

Also the battery is on the slim side with capacity of just 1170 mAH. The Q11 has a 2.4 Inch QVGA Screen which is not aligned to the center of the phone but is shifted to right. In it's place there are notification LED's. Motorola Q 11 measures the pretty slim 117 x 6 4x 11.7 mm, totaling a volume of 85cc. Its weight is passable 115 g. Motorola Q 11 is expected to be available in December 2008 but there is no information regarding its pricing yet.
